My Dear Parishioners, In this week’s Gospel, Jesus speaks words that are repeated several times: “Do not be afraid.” He knows that following him will not always be easy. There will be times when his disciples feel uncertain, worried, or challenged by the opinions and actions of others. Yet Jesus reminds them, and us, that God’s love is stronger than fear. Jesus uses the image of the sparrows to show how deeply God cares for all creation. If not, even a tiny sparrow is forgotten by God, then how much more precious are we in His eyes? Jesus says that even the hairs on our heads are counted, a beautiful reminder that God knows us completely, cares about every detail of our lives, and never abandons us. This Gospel also calls us to live our faith with courage. Jesus encourages his followers not to keep God’s love hidden but to share it openly through the way they speak, act, and care for others. Thank you to all parishioners who support our Parish through Planned Giving. Your generosity helps fund the daily operation of our churches and supports the many ministries of our Parish. The new Planned Giving envelopes for 2026/27 are available at the back of each church. Please note that some envelope numbers may have changed. If you would like to make any changes to your giving, switch to a different method of contribution, or would like a set of Planned Giving envelopes, please contact the Parish Office and we will be happy to assist. St Vincent De Paul Winter Appeal

Will be held on weekend of 27/28 June With the escalating cost of living many people are struggling to survive. The financial support you give to our Winter Appeal will help restore HOPE to those in need. Your donation can help put food on the table and may prevent a family becoming homeless. Donations options will be available next weekend, check next weeks bulletin, eNnewsletter or poster in church letter for how you can donate Amounts $2 and over are tax deductible. A Big Thank You

The groceries donated by the families of our First Communion children were very much appreciated. Your generosity has made a difference to many people who are struggling to survive and put food on the table. Our parish St Vincent de Paul Conferences thank you very much for your donation. We will keep our First Communicants and their families in our prayers.  

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea

Senior members of our parish are warmly invited to join us for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea as we gather in friendship and support those affected by cancer. When: Wednesday, 24 June 2026, at 11.00am Where: Parish Centre, OLGC, 9 Currie Road, Forestville. Enjoy a delicious morning tea, fellowship, and an informative presentation by Fem Maas from Fem Focus Spinal Flow, who will speak on Mobility and Stability. Morning tea will be provided, followed by our usual cuppa and chat. Please bring your own lunch. Transport can be arranged for anyone who would like to attend but requires assistance with travel. Proud Yaegl musician and Northern Beaches resident Michael Birk, supported by the Frenchs Forest Parish Social Justice Group and Mona Vale Music, is holding the 12th annual event Singing Up Country, at St Anthony in the Fields Church, Terrey Hills on Sunday 5th of July.  

Confirmation 2026 – Save the Date!

We are excited to announce that parish-based Confirmation ceremonies will be held in 2026 for baptised children who are 8 years old and in Year 3 or above. Confirmation Ceremony Dates Friday 4 September 2026 Saturday 5 September 2026 Enrolments will open on Monday 13 July via TryBooking.  Full details and the enrolment link will be available on the parish website.
