Dear Parishioners, As we head back into the Ordinary Time of the church’s liturgical year, we give thanks for the wonderful liturgical celebrations we have had for feast days for the past few weeks. In this Gospel, Jesus looks upon the crowds with compassion because they are like sheep without a shepherd." His heart is moved by the suffering, confusion, and spiritual needs of the people. Rather than turning away, He responds with love and calls His disciples to help in His mission. Jesus reminds them that "the harvest is rich but the labourers are few," encouraging them to pray for more people who are willing to serve God and care for others. Jesus then gives His disciples the authority to heal the sick and proclaim that the Kingdom of Heaven is near. What is striking is that He chooses ordinary people with different backgrounds and weaknesses to carry out this mission. Feast of St Anthony

This weekend we celebrate the Feast of St Anthony. All parishioners and visitors are warmly invited to join us for the Feast Day Mass  at St Anthony’s Church, Terrey Hills, on Sunday 14 June at 9:00am. Come and celebrate together as a parish community and seek the intercession of our patron saint, St Anthony. We look forward to welcoming you.

First Holy Communion

On Saturday, 20 June, we are delighted to celebrate the First Holy Communion of 140 children from our parish. Three Masses will be celebrated for the children and their families: 9:30am – OLGC, Forestville 1 1:30am – OLGC, Forestville 5:00pm Vigil Mass – St Martin’s, Davidson (parishioners are welcome to attend). We look forward to sharing this special occasion with the children and their families.  Please keep them in your prayers as they receive the Eucharist for the first time.

Planned Giving Envelopes

Thank you to all parishioners who support our Parish through Planned Giving. Your generosity helps fund the daily operation of our churches and supports the many ministries of our Parish. The new Planned Giving envelopes for 2026/27 will be available at the back of each church from next week. Please note that some envelope numbers may have changed. If you would like to make any changes to your giving, switch to a different method of contribution, or would like a set of Planned Giving envelopes, please contact the Parish Office and we will be happy to assist. Thank you for your continued support and generosity.
