My Dear Parishioners, This Sunday we celebrate The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, traditionally known as Corpus Christi. This feast calls us to a deeper appreciation of the Real Presence. Corpus Christi challenges us to see beyond what our eyes perceive and to embrace with faith the mystery of Christ's enduring presence among us. It reminds us that the same Jesus who walked the earth, healed the sick, and taught the crowds, continues to offer himself to us as spiritual nourishment, strengthening us for our journey of faith. Beyond the theological depth, Corpus Christi also emphasizes the communal aspect of our faith. We receive this sacred meal together, as one Body of Christ, called to be a living extension of His love and service in the world. Ultimately, Corpus Christi is a feast of immense love—God's infinite love for humanity, expressed in the ultimate sacrifice and in His desire to remain intimately with us.
