Wyvern Music Forestville presents Intimate Resonance, with The Linden Trio and distinguished pianist Dr. Jeanell Carrigan A.M., performing the monumental Brahms and Faure Piano Quartets.

Fauré’s Piano Quartet in C minor opens the concert with its compelling blend of elegance, urgency, and luminous harmonic colour. Brahms’ expansive Piano Quartet in A major, Op. 26 follows, a generous and deeply heartfelt work whose sweeping melodies and rich textures reveal the composer at his most noble and expressive. Together, these two works offer a rare opportunity to experience the piano quartet at its most intimate and resonant, performed by musicians celebrated for their insight, sensitivity, and blended ensemble sound.

The Linden Trio of Marina Marsden (violin), Justine Marsden (viola) and Timothy Nankervis (cello), are all highly-regarded members of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Dr. Jeanell Carrigan A.M. is currently an Associate Professor in the Collaborative Piano Unit at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, University of Sydney.
