Parish Pastoral Council Report
The PPC met on 2 September - the third of its four annual meetings. At each meeting, progress with the implementation of the Parish Pastoral plan is discussed.
Our Parish focus for 2025 is on building community connections. We noted the popularity of morning tea after Sunday mass, the local pilgrimages and our recent Parish pilgrimage to Italy. The Parish highlights key celebrations such as Parish Picnic , St Patrick's trivia night, St Martin’s Day, the Festival of Creation, All Souls Day where we come together to celebrate all that we share. We look forward to celebrating Advent and Christmas together as we come to the end of 2025.
We noted the opportunities the Parish provides to increase our understanding of the Faith. Thanks to Daniel, Leonie and Deacon Peter who are running faith formation events for us. We also have a three-day retreat to look forward to at the end of October - more details to come.
There are many other activities overseen by the PPC. More details will e provided over the coming weeks.
