Under the Department of Education’s Wellness Policy, “schools are encouraged to have a comprehensive and integrated strategy in place to support the cognitive, emotional, social, physical and spiritual well-being of the students in the hope that students have a sense of connection, inclusion, respect for individuality and difference, resilience and empowerment.”
