from Fr Satheesh

Dear Parishioners,

Alleluia! Christ is Risen! He is truly Risen!

As we joyfully celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, I extend to each of you my heartfelt Easter greetings. As we gather to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord, our hearts are filled with joy. After the long journey of Lent, we finally arrive at the empty tomb to find not an end, but a glorious beginning.

Easter is a reminder that no matter how dark the "Good Fridays" of our lives may seem, light and life will always have the final word. My prayer for you this season is that the hope of the Resurrection fills your homes, heals your worries, and renews your faith.

May the miracle of Easter bring you renewed hope and a deep sense of God’s infinite love. Whether you are celebrating with family or enjoying a quiet moment of reflection, know that you are in my prayers.

Thank you for being the heartbeat of this parish. May the peace of the Risen Christ be with you and your loved ones today and always.

It is a privilege to welcome Greg and Michael as the newest full members of our Catholic family. Being confirmed at the Easter Vigil is a powerful witness to us all, and we look forward to walking alongside them in faith for years to come. We owe a debt of gratitude to Leonie Puckeridge and the RCIA team for their months of preparation and guidance. Their commitment to Greg and Michael’s formation has been a true gift to our parish.

This Easter, I am especially grateful for the many blessings we have received as a parish community. I take this opportunity to thank all those who worked so generously and tirelessly to make our Holy Week and Easter celebrations so meaningful and prayerful.

To our Acolytes and Altar Servers, thank you for your reverent service. To our Readers, who proclaimed the Word with faith and clarity. To Daniel Younan our music director, our musicians, and the choir: thank you for the gift of your music, which brought such depth and beauty to all our liturgies this weekend. Your music lifted our hearts to God in praise.
To our Church Cleaning and Decorating Teams, who prepared our sacred space with such care. To our Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, your assistance was much appreciated. To our Parish Staff, thank you for your dedication and behind-the-scenes support. You have organised everything. To all our Volunteers, your love and service are deeply appreciated.

A special and heartfelt thank you to our Assistant Priests, Fr. Biju and Fr. Boby, for their support and generous ministry throughout Holy Week and the Easter celebrations. Your dedication is a great blessing to our parish.

As we continue through this Easter season, may we carry the light and joy of the Resurrection into our daily lives, witnessing to the love and mercy of Christ in all we do.

With Easter blessings and gratitude,
Fr. Satheesh Antony OSH Parish Priest.
