from Fr Satheesh

Dear Parish Family,

As we step into this grace-filled Christmas Season, I extend to each of you my warm and prayerful greetings. Christmas is a reminder of the most beautiful truth we hold dear: God chose to come near. In Jesus, born in Bethlehem, God entered our world—not in power or grandeur, but in simplicity and love. He came to stay with us, guide us, and save us. This same Jesus continues to live in our hearts today, binding us together as one family and filling our lives with hope.

As we celebrate the birth of our Saviour, my heart overflows with gratitude. First and foremost, I thank God for the gift of each one of you, your faith, your presence, your kindness, and the way you enrich our parish community. You are the living stones that make our parish a warm, vibrant, and loving home.

I want to express my sincere appreciation to all our parish committees, and to all our wonderful volunteers across every ministry. Your dedication behind the scenes ensures that our parish continues to grow spiritually, pastorally, and administratively. Your wisdom, time, and commitment are truly invaluable.

To our youth group, you bring energy, creativity, and a bright hope for the future. Your enthusiasm and faith remind us of the vibrant life of the Church. Thank you for being a vital part of our parish family.

I also wish to express heartfelt thanks to the two school communities within our parish. To the teachers and staff, your dedication to nurturing young minds in faith and knowledge is a gift to our community and we are deeply grateful for your commitment.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful parish staff. Your daily dedication, gentle service, and tireless efforts keep our parish running smoothly. You support our ministries, welcome parishioners with warmth, and serve with exceptional care. I am deeply grateful for the spirit of teamwork you bring to our mission.

My special thanks also go to my brother Priests, Fr. Biju and Fr. Boby, for their pastoral care and spiritual leadership. It is a blessing to journey with them as we serve our parish family together.

As we celebrate Christmas, I extend warm gratitude to all those who have helped prepare and celebrate our Christmas liturgies so beautifully, our choir members and musicians, altar servers, readers, extraordinary ministers, cleaners, gardeners, and every volunteer who has contributed in big and small ways. Your love and dedication help our community experience the joy and meaning of the Nativity in a profound way.

Christmas is a season of thanksgiving, and I am truly thankful for your cards, gifts, prayers, and heartfelt messages. They mean a great deal to me.

As we stand on the threshold of a New Year, let us carry the spirit of Christmas with us, its compassion, generosity, and hope. Let us continue to build a strong, vibrant parish where every person feels valued and supported. Together we walk in faith, trusting that God will guide and bless us in the year ahead.

On behalf of Fr. Biju, Fr. Boby, our parish staff, and myself, I wish you and your families a Blessed Christmas and a Grace-filled New Year. May the Lord bless you abundantly, keep you close to His heart, and fill your homes with peace and hope.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Fr. Satheesh Antony OSH, PP
